Verde Puebla Tomatillo

Verde Puebla Tomatillo Seeds

This amazing Mexican fruit is encased in its own papery husk. A hardy and interesting plant that needs minimal attention and grows exceptionally well in cool climates.

Treat the same as tomatoes and when outer husk starts to split, the fruit is ready to harvest. Will need staking as they continue to produce good yields until the first frosts demand it’s production!

Health & Culinary Notes

  • With a lovely tart flavour, this fruit is used for salsa or blended with chilli for Mexican cooking, salsas and sauces.
  • Rich in niacin, potassium and manganese.
