Popular hardy perennial with large silvery green leaves that can also be used as an ornamental. As well as buds being a deeper green colour this improved strain is less spikey, making for an easier harvest. Expect to harvest 3-4 hearts per plant, per year.
Unharvested hearts will produce large, bee and beneficial bug attracting flower heads. Very attractive in any garden. Mature plants can be divided in spring.
