A little bit of history: This ‘Golden Detroit’ beetroot, first cultivated in the USA in 1828 is an improved variety of the ancient beet known simply as ‘Golden Beet’ (originating from the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts of Europe and North Africa).
Soak seeds for 8hrs or overnight to improve the germination rate – when they sink, they are ready to plant.
