This very lovely Italian spinach variety has large heavy leaves, is dark green in colour and very rich in flavour. Great for cooler climates, use younger leaves for salads and older leaves for cooking.
Spinach is easy to grow and with rich soil or an application of nitrogen fertiliser, it is nearly unstoppable.
