Lavender ‘Vera’ Seeds

A stunning heirloom, this ‘True’ lavender, or commonly known as English Lavender is an evergreen perennial with beautiful purple flowers on sturdy stems and a beautiful bouquet. An edible variety, ‘Vera’ is also great for borders, cut flowers, pot pourri or made into perfumes.

Medically known for its ability to help with headaches, ear aches, insomnia and even depression. Also repels moths and white flies!

Germination can be a little tricky when growing from seed however placing your seeds in the fridge in damp sand (Stratification) for a few weeks before planting out can assist in germination. This act of stratification will let your seed think it has gone through a winter season and is emerging in spring.

PLEASE NOTE: Lavender essential oil should not be taken orally.
