A stunning variety that is a little sweeter and milder than the Genovese variety with medium to large vibrant green leaves.  Very easy to look after, slow bolting and great to grow in pots or containers. Perfect filler for that small space in your veggie garden or on your balcony.

Remember that basil’s flavour is reduced when flowers appear, so pinch out the buds when you see them!

A little bit more info: While this aromatic beauty is now one of the most recognisable herbs in Italian cooking, some historians suggest it wasn’t widely used in Italy until the early 20th century. Today, it’s the star ingredient in much loved classics like fresh pesto and Caprese salad.
