This well known kitchen favourite is very quick growing, hardy and has a delicious, nutty cress-like flavour. Leaves are smooth and mid to dark green in colour.

Like many leafy varieties, rocket grows best in rich moist soil. They are also perfect to grow in small spaces and produce well in pots or containers on balconies. For tastier leaves in hotter seasons or climate zones, ensure protection from the full sun. A great option for quick results, start harvesting baby leaves from 20 days!

Salad Rocket is often referred to as Arugula or Roquette.
