Saint Pierre Tomato Seeds

A wonderful all-rounder, this classic French heirloom – ‘Saint Pierre’ is a climbing (indeterminate) variety. It not only produces good yields of sweet, fleshy, medium sized round tomatoes, it is exceptionally delicious.

Known for its hardiness, especially in cooler climates, Saint Pierre will handle both dry and cooler conditions while continuing to produce over a long season, often till the first frosts of winter.

Cultivation of this tasty tomato dates back to the 1880’s and was very popular in the ‘Marchés Alimentaire’ or in English – ‘Parisian food markets’.

Plant in good, rich soil. Avoid watering leaves directly to prevent disease. Staking is required for this variety.
