This ‘Red Odourless’ onion is a classic globe shaped salad onion and like its name would suggest, this variety is ‘almost’ odourless. (Thanks to a reduced sulphur content).

What this variety lacks in odour it makes up for in flavour and crispness.

Plant in well drained soil and harvest when the tops dry out.  Stores well after harvest.  Hint: Be patient when planting as seeds can take 3 weeks to germinate.

A short day variety (requiring only 10-12 hours of light) that will grow well in most parts of Australia. Stores well in a dry and ventilated location.

• Known for its content of vitamin C, iron, and fibre. (lower in sulphur than many other varieties)
