Perpetual Gator Spinach

Perpetual Gator Spinach Seeds

While technically a member of the silverbeet family the smaller leaves, flavour and tenderness of this variety have seen it commonly referred to and used as you would traditional spinach all while still retaining the ‘hardiness’ of silverbeet.

Brilliant full year production in many parts of Australia, this very tasty ‘Perpetual Gator’ spinach with smooth oval shaped leaves has good tolerance to heat (perfect for warmer climates), mild frost, mildew and is slow to bolt.

Spinach is easy to grow, but with rich soil or a an application of nitrogen fertiliser, it is nearly unstoppable. Remove any flower stems as soon as you see them.
