A fast growing and hardy leafy green similar to Tatsoi. Young tender leaves are great as a salad green while the savoyed (crinkled) older leaves are great sautéed or steamed.
Mild in flavour and extremely cold hardy Yukina Savoy is great for those in cooler climates while still holding up well in much warmer weather.
For best results sow into rich and fertile soil and keep well watered.
Hint: If plants start to form flowers, harvest immediately.
