Kailaan Broccoli Seeds
A stunning broccoli that is quick growing with long thick stems and crinkled dark green leaves. Also known as Chinese broccoli, this delicious ‘green’ is tolerant of warmer weather and grows well planted close together thanks to its upright growing habit.
Best harvested as flower heads begin to form. Loves a really rich soil. Remember to protect from territorial white moth by using shade cloth, fake moths on sticks or wipe the small eggs off the underside of leaves every morning – this works like a charm.
Health & Culinary Notes
- High in beta carotene and vitamin E.
- Both the leaves and stems are edible and make a perfect addition to your favourite Laksa or simply steam and serve as a side.
