This widely grown cultivar is a dark blue-green coloured, one meter tall plant. Harvest leaves after 40 days and seed heads after 90 days. Dill will also bring a wide variety of beneficial insects and bees to your garden.
Hint: Sow every few weeks if you are looking for longevity and for best results, harvest when over 40cm tall.
Health & Culinary Notes
- Used for flavouring soups and lamb stews.
- Traditionally added to fried and baked fish – delicious.
- It can also be added to rice for something a little different.
