Black Beauty Eggplant Seeds

The most common variety of Eggplant (Aubergine) grown by home gardeners and for good reason. Black Beauty Eggplant is a productive variety that produces large, smooth, tear drop fruit up to 15cm with purple/black skin.

Will need staking for best results. Grown as an annual in cooler climates, but a perennial in warmer climates. In cool climates sow seeds in punnets undercover to get a head start in summer.

For best results grow in well drained and fertile soil. Apply extra fertiliser or compost if needed throughout the growing season.

Hint: Picking regularly encourages more fruit.
